Terms and Conditions – GAS Online Representation

  • Review Process: All artists applying for Premium Representation must submit 3-4 images of their work for review first. Click on the SUBMIT NOW link to view contract

  • Artwork Images: Artists should provide to the gallery images of all works to be exhibited online. All images should be High resolution JPG’s, 72dpi, approx. 600 pixels wide, cropped and colour-corrected. If supplied images are uncropped or of poor quality; they WILL NOT be posted on the website.

  • Works list: Exhibitors are required to supply a list of works including title, medium, size and artist price in electronic format (the gallery will supply a template for you).

Price Includes:

*General Administration/Sales & Money handling (Premium representation only)

A 10% administration fee will be payable to De Havilland Gallery for any sales made online via The De Havilland Gallery website. Artists are paid at the end of every calendar month when works are sold and paid for. Payment from all sales will be paid by direct deposit into your bank account. We immediately inform artists of their sale via email and ask that artists then supply the gallery with an invoice and full bank details.
Shipping costs from sale of artworks is incurred by purchaser. All artists are responsible for shipping costs if invited to exhibit at De Havilland’s Real world Gallery

**Artist Promotion (Premium representation only)

Whilst we endeavour to generate interest in all artworks that are exhibited online, we can not guarantee definite sales. All artwork exhibited online (both new and old) will be filed in our artist registry which is used when showing specific styles of artwork to potential clients

Promotion

The gallery will promote artworks in all suitable publications such as selected arts publications, online arts databases, AASD, Arts Hub, NAVA & EBay. The gallery’s regular listing in Art Almanac will include specific reference to the names of artists exhibiting and may on occasion include artist profiles/write-ups in certain publications.

Advertising

All advertisements for the De Havilland gallery include a direct link to the Virtual Gallery. We also advertise in selected arts publications, magazines, online arts databases, AASD, Arts Hub, NAVA & EBay.

Website Upkeep and Maintenance

It is up to the artist to email to the gallery updated CV’s/statements. All updates will be completed within 1-2 days of receiving. Additional artworks will be uploaded once payment and artwork details have been received.

We offer a ‘Featured Virtual Artist’ section for each month, which includes an interview with the artist and additional images, free of charge. The featured artist will be selected by the gallery each month. Artists who regularly update and have subscribed for premium representation will be given a higher listing and a better chance at being selected as the feature artist.

Additional Images:   Premium Representation: $10.00 p/each additional image (after 8 images)
                                   Basic Representation: $20.00 p/each additional image (after 8 images)

NOTE: Basic Representation can be upgraded to Premium Representation at any time. Simply click on the Submit Now button with samples of your work for review.

Payments

All payments are to be made by direct deposit. Please email the gallery with details of deposit once payment has been made along with completed contract for your virtual gallery to be uploaded. It is Gallery policy that all contracts be completed for the full year duration. There are no refunds for our services.
